Dr. Rick has been in practice since his graduation from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1989. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of
Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. He has run the Bridlewood Chiropractic Centre since 1989.
He is also certified in Clinical Acupuncture (Sri Lanka), Clinical Nutrition, and Active Release Technique (A.R.T.®). He has taken courses in Torque Release Technique, Biogeometric Integration (BGI), Applied Kinesiology, Computerized Nerve Scan Technology and Custom Orthotic Therapy.
Dr. Rick had also run Spadina Chiropractic Centre in downtown Toronto for 18 years. He was the Chiropractor for the Head Office of the Sutherland-Chan Massage School. He turned that practice over to his Associate, Dr. Eva Chan in 2010.
Dr. Rick’s main interest is to enable people to not only control their health, but to optimize their health or athletic potential through the Chiropractic Lifestyle and Detox-Nutrition Program. He teaches people that they possess the natural ability to heal themselves so long as they are given the proper environment, and reminds them that it is their lifestyle habits and choices that interfere with that process.
He also has an interest in personal development, running, fitness and hockey. He and his wife are recent empty nesters with four adult children and reside in Toronto.
